Sorry we haven’t posted in a while. We’ve had to make some decisions about the trip and here is where we currently stand. We still haven’t gotten an offer on the house. There is someone interested in buying the house as an investment property and we are waiting to see if they make an offer. If they don’t, and we don’t have another viable contract by July 31, we have decided to hold off on the trip for a year. It’s just getting too complicated. The timing of the market decline couldn’t have been worse for us.

After a small adjustment period, we are feeling OK about having to wait if that’s what happens. Make no mistake. We would much prefer to leave this year. But as so many have said to us, “If it’s meant to be, it will happen.” We completely believe that, we’ll just be disappointed if we have to change our plans. With a few adjustments, we can make next year work here.

So pray for us, that the right decision is made and that God’s will be done.
